Bright Object Travels Across The Night Sky Over Nanaimo British Columbia (ISS Sighting)

Date: December 28, 2010
Time: 6:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I'm writing in response to your article at: http://canadaufo.blogspot.com/2010/12/ufo-bursts-into-light-and-still-hangs.html

Today, around 6:30pm, my wife and I saw something somehow similar to your observation.

As we were getting ready to go, I took the time to look at the sky and enjoy the stars before going in the car, when I spotted what seemed to be a satellite. Having watched hundreds of satellite before, I quickly concluded that this was different.

The speed was about 3 to 5 times faster and the brightness what many times stronger than the reflection I've seen from satellites. Actually, the object was brighter than any stars, like a large white star.

The trajectory of the object initially appeared straight, but after around a minute there was a very slight curve in it.

Everything lasted less than 3 minutes. The object's brightness finally faded away within less than ten seconds and enabled me to get a better idea of it’s size and shape. When the object faded away, it looked more like an actual satellite before disappearing than a star, which gave the impression that the object was much smaller. Unfortunately, the object completely disappeared and could not be found after close observation.

We were unable to get any precise shape nor altitude. When I was younger, I had the chance to see many types of aircrafts, since my father was a pilot and an air traffic controller. But this is truly strange. If this was a satellite, the speed was absolutely tremendous and the brightness so great that it would imply some sort of large reflective area. Because of this and the shift in trajectory, I conclude it is not a satellite.

Moreover, the brightness cannot be easily explained if this was an aircraft, since it would have required a great deal of energy for no apparent reason but to be overly visible. In addition, no sounds were heard on this quiet evening.

There was no trace behind, resulting from the object. I'm tempted to believe this was a long range missile that "stopped" in flight (west to east), but how could it not leave a trace?

Hope this helps. Best regards.

Ball Of Fire Over Mission British Columbia

Date: December 25, 2010
Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Mission British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 6
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: After dinner I went outside for a smoke. In the northeast sky noticed a bright light. It appeared to be a ball of fire, you could even see flames. It moved about the speed of a small aircraft and given the fact that it was completely overcast and raining. I figure it was at approximately 2000 feet as it passed from east to west.

The ball of fire was obscured by the back of what ever it was. We watched the news that night expecting to hear of a small plane catching fire and crashing, but nothing was reported. Any ideas as to what this was? Thanks.

I saw about 8 or nine that night. They were all coming from the ground from the same spot. When I first saw them, there was 3 yellow lights, not moving. Within minutes they started moving and many started launching from the same spot, which is very close to me. ( I live in Rutland), Kelowna side of lake. I would love to see photos if you have any. The last one was pink color.

Lights Zooming Around The Sky Over Kelowna And Westbank British Columbia

Date: December 12, 2010 and in 2003.
Time: Evening.

Hey, not sure if this is a real sight or not . But I wanted to let someone now what I've seen, to offer me an explanation or something

2003- I saw lights in sky at bus stop, there was 5 or 6 of them. They appeared to be chasing one another, not in an aggressive way, but in a 'game like manner. Witnessed by me and another person waiting for a bus.
These lights came fairly close, then shot off so incredibly fast.

I now live in Westbank near the water. Lights move from the sky and seem to skim the water, I thought these were car lights from the hillside on the other side, but these lights are similar, if not exact to what I saw in 2003. There is no pattern to how they fly, just a chasing pattern and then gone and up into the sky. I have seen these lights several times and I know they are not planes, aircraft, flashlights and cars. Just a side note, when I have no cell service, my cell says no network service.

Anyway I am not crazy or making this up, Just want to let people know who might believe me and offer me an explanation !

Additional Information:

Yes, I saw most the articles ! I thought out of all the sites yours was most reliable. I was in Kelowna before my move to Westbank, I lived in the mission area. I was at a bus stop in the boonies one night (there was another person waiting as well) when very noticeable lights were zooming around. There was 5 or 6 and they were just above an orchard (as we were at the bus stop on a hill and could see into the valley) they were luminous in blue color and large. Within seconds 3 shot up and the other went north across the valley and then swooped upwards. This was all in about 5 seconds or so and the guy waiting for the bus asked me " what the heck are those, do see this.

I did see what he saw as well. They moved at amazing speeds and all 5-6 of them were "chasing" one another like a game of tag, they were hard to count as they maneuvered so quickly. In the black night they were more visible, but I cant explain the speed, it was crazy. They zoomed around that night for about 3 minutes, then went so far up we could no longer see them.

I have seen these lights as recently as December 12th, 2010 above the lake near west point 4-5. This is when my cell went out of service until the lights vanished .

What concerns me is that about 20 years ago my dad who lived in Hartel AB Near Okotoks has similar sightings of lights chasing each other. He wasn't crazy either. What are they ? There's intelligence, the way the move as it seems calculated.

More Witnesses To These Unknown Flashing Lights Over Kelowna British Columbia

Date: December 25, 2010
Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Hello, my two friends and I saw two of the red and white flashing lights you describe on your website. It was at the exact same time approx: 8:00 p.m. PST. It was amazing!

If you would like more info, please contact me.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, I am not surprised more sightings have been shared. The date was yesterday, Christmas day and my friends and I had just finished Christmas dinner when we went outside for some fresh air. The first light appeared, mostly red, but it pulsated an orange colour. There was
none of the typical engine noise from a plane and did not follow the normal flight path of aircraft heading to/from the local airport.

It came nearer to where we were, then seemed to dim in some wispy clouds, then completely disappeared. To our amazement, on the horizon there was another light that appeared, on a much lower flight path than the first. As we watched, this one changed speed and direction, and it seemed to pause for a moment (like it was taking a picture), then it seemed to ascend and at one point it looked like a star in the constellation Orion, before completely disappearing out of sight.

Just have to share that I am a channel and I heard after the sighting that it related to the "bouncing point" of 2012.

Did anyone get any video of this?

Please let me know if I can be of anymore assistance!

Many thanks and I will be watching your website.

7 To 8 Unknown Flashing Lights Over Richmond British Columbia

Date: December 25, 2010
Time: Approx: 7:50 p.m.

Hi Brian, I posted a comment about below sighting on my FB and a cousin from Europe sent me a link detailing the sighting from Kelowna. We saw individual flashing lights (like a very powerful camera flash), about 7-8 of them, around 7:50pm last night. This was in Richmond B.C.

The flashing lasted only for a moment, and the brightness varied between them. This did not look like a lightening at all, although it was coming out of a cloud (or from above it). I wonder if anyone else spotted the same thing in Richmond.

All the best, and Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it)!

Location of Sighting: Kelowna British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 3

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Red and white flashing lights. Too close together to be commercial flights. Objects moved very fast for how far away they were and made very rapid course changes. At around 30,000 (guess) feet high they seemed to disappear. Way too high to be fireworks. Around 15 objects sighted so far and it’s still going on.

Bright Blue Light Shooting West Over Richmond British Columbia

Date: December 8, 2010
Time: Approx: 6:04 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Richmond British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: N/A.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Around the said time, I was on my work break and out. I observed a blue light shooting west. I wasn't able to get the shape or any thing else as this thing lasted for not more than a second and traveled more than half the sky. It was beyond clouds, bright blue in color and because of clouds was changing shades in it’s surrounding.

The most beautiful thing I ever saw. I had seen meteor shower, so I know what meteors look like and this thing was not at all close to that, and than the immense speed. By the time I could have realized anything else, it was gone. To make it strange, it just vanished as if someone just turned the lights off. I don't know if anybody else had witnessed this, but would like to definitely know what it could be. Cheers

Huge Bright Lit Object Falling From The Sky Over Vernon British Columbia

Date: December 7, 2010
Time: Evening.

My husband and I were just in the hot tub and suddenly we saw what we thought was a falling star, but quickly realized it was huge, bright white and falling straight down. It was partially cloudy so the comet would go behind a cloud and then show up again where the sky was clear. It lit up the cloud behind it with a bright glow. Wow!

Bright Light Moves Quickly Through The Sky Between Vanderhoof And Prince George British Columbia

Date: December 14, 2010
Time: Approx: 6:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Between Vanderhoof And Prince George British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: to far away to tell.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving on Hwy 16 East from Vanderhoof home to Prince George. I was about half way, maybe closer to Prince George. The sky was very dark and clear. I looked up to enjoy the stars, and I saw a very bright white light far away in the sky. Almost like a comet passing through the atmosphere, but just a bright white light passing in one straight line horizontally north to south, with no tail. Just one bright light zipping by faster than anything I've ever seen.

UFO Bursts Into Light And Still Hangs Over Nanaimo British Columbia

Date: December 16 - 17th, 2010
Time: 9:30 p.m. –1:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Nanaimo British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Disc.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Last night I was on the deck of my apartment talking on the phone to a friend it was about 9:30pm when I noticed what looked to be a low flying satellite coming in my direction flying SE direction towards Vancouver from the west coast of the Island.

I said to my friend on the phone, there's a UFO and he started joking around, I then got off the phone and the object was still moving in my direction, it then stopped and was just floating in one place. I called for my wife who came out and was watching as well.

We both watched it and then it started to move north toward Lantzville, it went up and into an arch pattern and then gave off a huge burst of light and was travelling fast and jittery and then stopped further down my line of sight just over the building across the street, but further toward the back end of Mount Benson area.

We watched for a few minutes and could tell it was moving constantly in small increments, but stayed in one place or area. We went inside and I got my spotting scope.

I set up my spotting scope on the dining room table by the window as I could see it from there just over the top of a building across the street, but off in the distance.

I am not sure what it was, but it didn't just stay in one spot, even for a few seconds and only travelled out of the scope and back in to where I had it focused.

It moved up down back and forth, had 4 lights across it and was shaped like a thin disk from what I could tell. It was very bright and the colour of a sparkler or a camera flash, but constant even in the spotting scope. It wasn't very large and you could never really focus on it to get a clear distinct look at it as it was too bright and not very big.

The object was still doing it’s thing off in the distance when I finally went to bed at 1:00am.

Not sure what it was, but it wasn't a plane, helicopter, weather balloon, Mars, or the Moon.

Hope to see something like that again.

Total time I and my wife watched it was about 4 hours. So I am not sure what to make of that and I am sure others seen it as well. I will be watching the news and combing the internet for a few days to see if anyone else seen anything.

Beam Of Light Witnessed Over Wynndel British Columbia

Date: 1990s
Time: Evening.

Hi, I came across your website regarding the beam of light in B.C. in 2003. In the 1990's my family saw this same thing and I was reminded about it earlier today while at a bookstore. I was leafing through an old book called Ogopogo written by Mary Moon in 1977 and in the back there was a chapter about other Okanagan phenomena.

One was called the 'Okanagan Arch' which exactly describes this beam of light. I was intrigued that it was a recurring albeit rare event so I thought I'd look it up online. I was surprised that your website was the only one I found that mentioned it. In the book, the author tells that this beam of light has been reported throughout the years, 1900's, 1920's, 30's etc. and at the time of writing it was still a mystery as to it's cause.

Sincerely.

Blue Green Object Lights Up Witnesses Property At Quenville Area Of Courtenay British Columbia

Date: December 8, 2010
Time: Around 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Ok, I don't know what I saw but here it is -

On Wednesday Dec. 8 around 6 or 6:30 PM I was walking my dogs around on my property in the Quenville area of Courtenay, which is near the Comox AFB. I had a flashlight, when all of a sudden the area around me lit up like lightening does before it strikes.

I looked up thinking I'd see lightening, but instead, I saw a bluish-green object, not quite a ball shaped thing with a long tail above me heading south along the general area of Quenville road.

It was a few hundred feet above me, but made no sound. The light it made above me lasted for approximately 4-5 seconds then the thing disappeared. I thought it could be fireworks, but then again, there was no sound.

Also, it could not have been that high if it could light up my property, and we have about 2.5 acres. Could it have been a meteor? I did call the AFB and talked to Operations. They had no information and had not received other calls (as of that night).

So what do you think it was? Did anyone else report a similar thing on that night? Thanks.

Strange Lights Over Hudson Bay Mountain In Smithers British Columbia

Date: December 14, 2010
Time: Approx: 5:30 p.m.

Hello, its good to see I'm not the only one seeing these weird lights in the sky. Tonight around 5:30 pm, I saw a very bright light appear above Hudson Bay Mountain. It moved a few yards and disappeared. I've lived in Smithers for 10 years now, and only in this last year have I seen constant sightings in the same area and out towards Telkwa, since May 2010.

I'm just very curious. I've never been much of a believer in the phenomenon, but I've seen some strange stuff, in my opinion? I don't know what to say, but I'm seeing something that defies everything I know to be normal and explainable. I am not sure what to think or believe. Simply, I just know it is real whatever it is, so what is it? Hope to hear back from you if you hear anything. Thank you.

Bright White Lights Over West Vancouver British Columbia

Date: December 4, 2010
Time: After midnight.

Hi Brian, this is in response to the lights you said you saw over the mountains to the north from Kits Beach last July. Well last Saturday around just after midnight, a friend was driving us back to the North shore from downtown over the Lions Gate bridge.

There was a check stop, so the traffic was moving quite slow. While crawling along the bridge I noticed a set of bright white lights that were hovering just over the crest of the mountains behind West Vancouver (just west of the British Properties, if you know the area).

Watching them, they slowly dipped back behind the mountains then reappeared several times over the course of about 15 minutes. We tried to speculate on what they could be, but had no idea. Definitely not a helicopter, and it was in a non-residential forested area, with houses nowhere even near. Thought it was weird enough to do a Google search, and your posting came up which I thought closely matched what we saw.

If you have heard anything about this, I would be interested to know more. If not, well I guess Ill just have to keep an eye out up there for more! Cheers,

Bright Light Moves Up And Down Over White Rock British Columbia

Date: November 3, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

My wife and I were walking along the boardwalk in White Rock, British Columbia and a woman called from outside her home to look up in the sky. We looked up and saw a yellow ball (orb) of bright light in the southeastern sky at about 65 degrees above the horizon.

We could not tell what it was, as none of the three of us had ever seen anything like this before. It hovered like a helicopter, but appeared to be quite close and from our perspective, it would have been about 3x the size of a helicopter or a bit larger. We doubted whether it could be any kind of helicopter because the ball of light was a complete orb and there was no distinction of any other form around or in the light.

It hovered at about 65 degrees for about 30 seconds, then dropped down to about 45 degrees for another 30 seconds then went back up to 65 degrees above the horizon and then it started to move away in a southwesterly direction. We watched until the ball went down to about 50 percent of it’s size and then it just totally disappeared like blowing out the flame of a candle.

I have no idea what this was and both myself and my wife and the people we spoke to on the pier have never seen anything like that and nobody had any ideas on what it was. We both have never seen any UFOs and therefore have never believed in any such thing. In any event, this occurrence has no rationale explanation for us albeit we are not very knowledgeable about what kinds of things this could be.

Just thought you would like to know.

Red Teardrop Shaped Object Seen Over Comox British Columbia

Date: November 26, 2010
Time: 11:40 p.m.

Hello, a red torch flame shaped object approached from the west, coming from the Beaufort range mountains. It was travelling east at moderate speed. It definitely took my breath away.

It was very red, sort of teardrop shaped, looking like the head of a torch flame, bigger at the bottom and pointed at the top. It silently moved west, I thought it would come over my head. It then turned to the north and proceeded. There was no sound coming from it.

It then started to flicker out and then it was extinguished. The whole sighting lasted about 2 minutes. I live near the airbase. Again no sound, no other light colors, just red. Are there any other reports of this ?

Possible Sasquatch Sighting At Campbell River British Columbia

Date: Approx: 2008 ?

Hi Brian, my name (name removed) and I’m in Campbell River, British Columbia and a friend has lead me to your website. Two years ago we were camping just north of Campbell River and I witnessed what seemed to be a figure about 5 ‘10 to 6 foot in height. I stared for about 5 minutes before I noticed it wasn’t moving.

Then just before I gave up and assumed it was a tree or my imagination. It stood straight up and walked to the left and through the heavy brush. I was so scared, I raced back to the campsite and told everyone what I had seen. The guys in the camp walked the whole site and couldn’t find a thing.

I have so many questions and have seen many more things in the last 2 years after really opening my eyes to this.

Thank you again!

Massive Triangular UFO With Lights Over Houston British Columbia

From the Vike Factor archives (Brian Vike) http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/

Date: April 21, 2003
Time: 11:45 p.m.

The witness was walking home from his brother’s place, along Highway #16. He was gazing up at the stars in the clear night sky when he noticed a large part of the sky in which no stars were visible, only the outline of something huge and dark in colour.

This dark object was flying very low over top the tree line, heading east. As he watched it, several rows of lights suddenly came on! This frightened him and he ran the short distance to his home and yelled for his mother to come out and view the craft.

Both of them watched the “massive” object slowly fly by. The rows of lights then suddenly went off again. Due to the number of trees around, they soon lost sight of it altogether. Their total viewing time together was only 10 to 12 seconds. No sound was heard.

Crescent Shaped UFO Glides Over Houston British Columbia

From the Vike Factor archives (Brian Vike) http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/

Date: April 20/24, 2003 ?
Time: 10:30 p.m.

A woman was just about to close the bedroom curtains, getting ready to retire for the evening, when she saw a tight cluster of lights just sitting stationary, low in the sky. She called her husband over and he too was shocked at what he saw.

Grabbing binoculars, they took turns viewing the lights. They believe that the lights were attached to a dark object shaped like the letter “C”. They believed that the object was low to the ground and fairly close to their farm, possibly hovering over Highway #16.

Although they opened the window to check, they could not hear any sound. They watched the stationary object for 20 to 30 minutes before closing the curtains and going to bed. Shortly afterward, the wife did get up and look out the window, but the lights were gone.

Also a side note on this particular area. Other residents in the neighborhood did see many unusual things flying overhead in 2002 and 2003. most remain unexplained.

See image below to get a rough idea as to what the craft looked like.

Note: Although the couple was not sure of the exact date, researcher Brian Vike believes it may be the same night as the following similar sighting.

1967 Kitimat British Columbia UFO Incident (RCMP Officer Shoots At Unknown)

(From Brian Vike's UFO Files)

Date: 1967

Brian, are you aware of the 1967 so called UFO incident in Kitimat? I was involved in this incident during the winter of that year.

Me and a few friends were walking on the outskirts of Kitimat one snowy dark evening when we heard a strange beeping noise out in the bush.

Within a half an hour a large group of local residents gathered along with us to listen to this electronic beeping noise.

Shortly thereafter, the RCMP showed up and formed about 12 of us into 2 groups. Each group was to walk along one side of this ravine that went into the bush towards this blue light.

It was the dead of winter and there was alot of snow in the bush.

I was with one of those groups accompanied by an RCMP officer. There was a blue glowing light off in the bush along with this electronic beeping noise.

After about 20 minutes, we heard 4 or 5 gunshots, and our RCMP officer told us all to get out of the bush. When we got back to the road, the other group that had traversed the other side of the ravine was already out on the road.

Everyone in that group was very scared and apparently, the RCMP officer in that group shot into a tree at "something?"

They all saw something in the tree, but no-one wanted to talk about it! This RCMP officer was as white as a sheet and saw something in the tree apparently with the rest of them and felt compelled to shoot at it?

Well, before one knew it, there were electronic and UFO experts coming to Kitimat from all over the world.

The beeping noise continued for many weeks and the electronic experts from Vancouver stated that it was an electronic source of some sort.

The local Natives just laughed and stated that the beeping noise was a rare Owl. They could not however explain the blue glowing light out in the bush that night.

It was what we were trying to see when our two groups went into the bush.

Have you heard of this story?

If anyone has witnessed the object, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

Vike Factor Note: I do receive sighting reports from everywhere in the world, and I post all of the reports I receive here: http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/

Ball Of Fire With Lights Seen From The West Side Of Kelowna British Columbia

Date: November 21, 2010
Time: 12:10 a.m.

Hi, I just saw a UFO on the west side of Kelowna at 12:10am. Actually, I believe there were two different ones. I saw one that looked like a ball of fire rise up from the ground that had red lights on it.

The other had a red and a blue light light. The orange one kept rising quickly and disappeared. The other seemed like it just vanished. Three of us saw it, myself , my mother and my 11 year old son. I am curious if anyone else saw this. I can't believe what we just witnessed.

Triangular Shaped UFO Over Westbank British Columbia

Date: November 8, 2010
Time: 9:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: West Kelowna British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Triangular.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My sister and I were driving in Westbank, B.C. when my sister looked up in the sky and said, 'omg, what is that?'. We pulled over the car to look at the object this time (we had previously seen something just like it, about a week just before this sighting).

At first it was hard to see the object's shape against the black night, but then we saw the triangular shape that shadowed against the darkness. It was prominently red lights, and then there would be a white light emitting form the object, then the white light would go away, the light would turn orange, back to red, looking at the object you could also see other lights with other colors. It didn't make a noise, and it flew in a southwest direction.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Orange Light Over Locarno/Spanish Banks Vancouver British Columbia

Date: November 10, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Vancouver B.C.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At about 11:00pm, my husband and I were walking the dogs on the beach (Locarno/Spanish Banks area). A large, bright orange light which appeared to be hanging from the bottom of what looked like a darker orange sock (like a wind sock) appeared above the beach path near the foot of Sasamat Street.

It travelled quickly towards the west over the path. The “sock” above the light was wobbling with the wind. There was no sound. It kept going west and began to climb higher into the sky. The light looked smaller as it moved farther away, and a minute or two later it disappeared into the sky.

We are 56 and 57 years old and we have never before seen anything like this. We kept walking and met some neighbors who were also walking their dog. They had seen the same object before we did. They saw it moving towards the north approximately above Sasamat Street. They said that they saw it stop and move in various directions.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

UFO Comes To A Stop Over Peachland British Columbia

Date: November 7, 2010
Time: 7:10 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Peachland BC Canada.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: ?

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We witnessed a UFO with a red light travelling from the northeast to west and then it slowly went southeast and finally east over the mountains real slow. It made no sound.

I thought it was just a plane until it stopped for a period of time (at least 15 to 40 seconds stops each time) and continued stopping several times. I used the bare cottonwoods to use as a point of reference for movement so I am positive it was still.

First time of seeing one with a flashing red light. In descript shape) We usually see white orbs. Fascinating.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, I wanted to add that it was stopping over Okanagan Lake and from my vantage point, it was as high as the cottonwoods from our condo. I can’t guess the altitude. The red was very different than a plane’s red light. It was a very intense red throbbing type light. Thanks for looking into this.

Campbell River British Columbia Triangle UFO Sighting (Pictures Drawing Map)

I just got off the telephone (November 4, 2010) after talking to a nice lady who had a Triangle UFO sighting outside of Campbell River, British Columbia. The sighting took place on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at approximately 8:10pm.

The lady was traveling north on the Inland Island Highway heading towards Campbell River, B.C. when she looked up through the windshield into the sky and saw a very bright light shining down. She wondered what the heck this might be. Maybe a helicopter hovering over a field which was right across from the ocean. As she gets closer to the area where the craft was first spotted, she saw it moving towards her and passing over the top of her vehicle at approximately 100 feet height and there was total silence. Not a sound of any kind was heard coming from the UFO.

Triangle UFO Sighting And Triangle Impressions On The Ground Outside Of Campbell River British Columbia

I just got off the telephone (November 4, 2010) after talking to a nice lady who had a Triangle UFO sighting outside of Campbell River, British Columbia. The sighting took place on Tuesday, November 2, 2010.

After the lady saw the UFO, she went back the next day to the area in which she witnessed the triangle with lights.

What she saw was, impressions on the ground from what she believes was the triangular UFO and other smaller triangle impressions in this area. Pictures were taken, and I am waiting on them now, plus I will have to type up the report for posting all the information with photos.

Take care

Huge Bright UFO Slowly Maneuvers Around Northern British Columbia Farm

From the Vike Factor archives (Brian Vike) Also a film crew from back east flew out and filmed a segment for a TV UFO documentary.

Total UFO reports for Northern British Columbia is now up to 73 reported sightings to me alone. I am going to write the reports and send them out as I go along. Below is the report from Mr. Gordon Stewart over the July 29, 2002 sighting in the Telkwa area. To my surprise, I received a report from Mrs. Stewart as well, which was of a sighting she had two months prior to the July 29th sighting.

Please keep in mind this is only one of the witnesses for the July 29th sighting. There are 8 other witnesses yet to be heard from, and I will be writing up each of their reports as time permits (I have a lot of reports other than this case to write up). Everyone has been interviewed except for a small party who had already left Smithers heading back home. I have their phone numbers and will be contacting them within a few days.

The first person interviewed Mr. Gordon Stewart.

Houston And Telkwa British Columbia

Date: July 29, 2002
Time: Approx: 10:30 - 10:45 p.m.

In the following report there is mention of two names out of the 9 witnesses (Only one of these names - Mr. Stewart goes with the July 29th sighting, Mrs. Stewart has a separate report). Mr. Gordon Stewart is his real name, and the only reason I am placing his name to my report is because the Interior Newspaper received permission from the witness to print the information, otherwise I would have left the name out from my report.

Although I had permission to use some of the other witnesses names, I choose not to place their personal information in my report, a policy of Brian Vike sticks to.

Location information - Gordon's farm: (Telkwa, British Columbia, Canada) - The witness owns 160 acres of farming land, treed with Spruce, Aspen and Pine in areas, with a good number of acres in Hay fields. This supports his 57 head of cattle. The Stewarts's home sits at 3,000 feet in elevation and over looks the Bulkley Valley and Telkwa mountain range in the distance. (Photos I took from Gordon's farm will be added to my report and will be seen on my website at a later date.

Anyone wishing to post these reports to their web sites may request the photos and I will send them along). Gordon's farm is approximately 6 kilometers off Highway #16. The next largest town is Smithers, which is approximately 15 miles west from Telkwa, B.C. and has an airport for the surrounding areas.

I received a telephone call today (July 30, 2002) from a reporter (Nicole Fitzgerald) at the Smithers Interior Newspaper, Smithers, British Columbia asking if I had received a sighting reports from any of the residents from the Telkwa, B.C. area. I told Nicole nothing had come in so far. She went on to give me a brief description of what one witness (Gordon Stewart - a farmer and resident of the Telkwa area) had told her he seen at 10:45 p.m. on July 29, 2002.

I asked her if it would be ok to get his contact information as I wanted to look into the matter and investigate the report. I received Gordon's contact information and I telephoned Gordon and set up an interview with him at 8:00 a.m. on August 1, 2002 at his home in Telkwa, British Columbia. When I arrived at the gentleman's farm, the first thing I noticed was the view from their beautiful home and picture window they had an uninstructed view of the valley below, and across the valley the Telkwa Mountain range stood still snow capped.

I knocked on the witnesses door and a tall well built man greeted me and invited in.

We discussed farming as we made our way through his home to the living room and kitchen area. Before sitting down for a coffee and discussing what he saw, Gordon took me into the living room and he sat down in his chair, pointed out the window moving his arm which indicated the location, and flight path of the object. Gordon mentioned that he was going to catch a late movie before retiring to bed. He said I never expected to have such an exciting night.

At this point Gordon's wife joined us both, and we all sat down at the kitchen table and he gave me a description of what he saw on July, 29, 2002.

It was exactly 10:45 p.m. on July, 29, 2002 when I was sitting watching a late movie when I saw a "huge", round white/yellowish object in color, traveling at approximately 600 miles per hour fly at low attitude (approximately 300 meters - altitude) through the Bulkley Valley below. From my distance, he said, the object was the approximately the size of a pickup truck, he went on to say the actual size, in his estimation if he had of been closer to it would have been closer to a school bus.

The object traveled according to the witness, west to east. There was "no" sound at all, no reaction from his two dogs which were outside at the time the object passed by. I asked if there was a tail trailing it, he said no. It was completely round and very bright.

As I mentioned above, the Stewarts's farm sits approximately at a elevation of 3000 feet, and the Telkwa Mountain Range sits at approximately 3500 feet. The object was traveling below the top of the Telkwa range, and below the elevation the Stewart's farm sits. He also mentioned the object would have passed directly over top of Round Lake which can been seen 2 to 3 miles in the distance from the farm.

Gordon did step out onto his patio to look around, but the object had already departed from his sight.

He came back in and woke his wife (Joanna) and told her what he just witnessed. She for some reason wasn't really surprised. (I will explain below - very interesting!). Gordon made a call to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to make a report of what he just witnessed, also wondering if anyone else had reported anything close to what he just saw. The RCMP told him they had not heard from anyone else. A Constable took the report by way of telephone.

The next day Mr. Stewart telephoned the Smithers Interior Newspaper and talked with reporter Nicole Fitzgerald who requested a meeting with Gordon and took the interview. This is where I came into the picture, as Nicole had contacted me.

As I mentioned in the report from Gordon, his wife Joanna was not all that surprised. After Gordon explained what it was he just had seen, thinking his wife may not believe him, she spoke up and said from what you just told me, I seen a similar light two months prior to this sighting. She did not want to tell her husband because she thought he wouldn't believe her.

I asked Mrs. Stewart what she had witnessed, she went on to tell me she was laying in bed a wake with the drapes closed over when a "really bright white light" lit up the whole room. Joanna said it frightened her, but still got up slowly and approached the window carefully. She pulled over the side of the drapes and looked out to see a "huge" bright light. As the object moved slowly across their farm, it shone a beam of white light towards the ground behind their home in a large field.

She started to lose sight of the object, so she moved from the bedroom to the living room and watched the object fly "slowly" across their field, across Boundary Road and onto their neighbors farm where she finally lost sight of it. She said the object moved completely in silence and went on to describe the beam of light as if someone held a flashlight upside down pointing downwards. Joanna said it was as if the sun was out, but within a circle on the ground. (Brian Vike’s Note: I received a report this year (2002) from a witness south of Burns Lake, a small farming community called Grassy Plains which is across Francois Lake.

This witness went on to tell me of a similar object which did exactly the same thing Joanna saw, or described. This may or may not have anything to do with one another, but both reports would be in the right time frame).

I sincerely thanked Mr. and Mrs. Stewart for sharing the story with me, and taking the time to allow me in their home to discuss what it was they saw.

Report #3 For Quick, British Columbia

By Brian Vike
The Vike Factor
sighting@telus.net

8-14-2

Quick, British Columbia

Date: July 29, 2002
Time: Approx: 10:50 p.m.

Location Information: Quick is a very small farming community which sits between Houston and Smithers British Columbia. It is nestled in the Bulkley Valley with mountain ranges running all around.

Today, August 10, 2002 I left my home to interview the next set of witnesses. The drive was going to take some 40 minutes, so I stopped at the service station and gassed up and left Houston at 2:00 p.m. heading west for Quick. I finally arrived and turned off Highway #16 onto the Quick East Road and drove along until I came to the witnesses home. I was greeted by both the wife and husband, and met their son a bit later.

We walked along a beautiful stone path which led to a large patio where we sat to discuss what it was they saw.

The two witnesses who had the sighting were Mrs. (wife) and her son. The Mom is a retired school teacher and her son works as a Civil Engineer. Two very creditable witness, also very pleasant people. What I am going to do here is to name Mrs. or the wife witness number #1 and her son witness number #2. It will help me so I do not goof myself up.

Witness #1 went inside her home and came out with a journal she has been keeping for years. She writes down events which are important to her and this one event that took place on July 29, 2002 was one she will never forget.

Brian Vike’s Note: I also have photos of the area where the object was seen shooting across the sky in which I will post to my website once I get the film developed.

Their farm sits at an elevation of 530 meters and has a wide open view of the Telkwa Mountain Range and Chicken Mountain which sits slightly lower and in front of the range. The weather conditions were perfect as the sky was clear. The sun had already set in the west and Mom (witness) was going to meet her son who was over near their greenhouse. She walked up the driveway and turned onto a small dirt path holding her flash light watching the ground to see where she was walking.

This lead to a wide opening in the field where the greenhouse was situated. Just as she reached this opening, she heard her son give out a loud yell. She immediately looked up and went to shine her light towards her son when she saw, a huge, bright, glowing white/yellowish, almost oval in shape object flying across the sky at a very low level. She said to me, "I couldn't move, I was in shock". I asked her about the shape of this object, as everyone else who reported to me said it was round. She said in her opinion the object was not quite round, but just off, meaning it was "slightly" oval (even walnut in shape). Or another thing she said, it would be like if you took a round circle and started to stretch it out.

The color has remained the same from all witnesses who reported the object. I asked witness #1 for an approximate size for this bright light. Mom (witness) struggled with this as she did not want to give any wrong information. Her final conclusion as to the size would be, at arms length it was the size of her finger nail, but not across, it would have been length ways.

I asked where exactly it was seen. I wanted to know if it was below the horizon of the Telkwa Range. I was trying to get an idea for distance from the witnesses. Again she was not sure. You have to remember by the time the sighting took place it was already dark, and it is hard to see landmarks which would help determine exactly where the object would have been in relation to them and the distant mountains.

I looked around, and since I knew the path the object took, I thought I would try this. In the direction they lost sight of this object, there are three sets of trees. One group of large trees sat behind their greenhouse which sat on a ledge. Behind this group of trees there is a drop off, across from here it rises up again in elevation with another grouping of trees which rose above the set behind the greenhouse. Another grouping of timber sat higher up again.

So I asked when she lost sight of "it", what grouping of trees did the object fall behind? She said the last set for sure. Now I asked, approximately how high above the last grouping of trees was the object. Mom (witness) said it was "just" above the timber, but as they were losing sight of it, the object would have been just a "hair' below the tops of the trees.

Now this gave me something to work with. The last stand of timber sits rather high up at a good distance from where they were standing, approximately 1/2 mile away (maybe more), "but", this stand of timber is below the horizon of Chicken Mountain. So this object shot down the valley at approximately 1 1/2 miles away from them. It was also heading in a southwesterly direction at a quick pace, but slow enough as where the object took 5 to 6 seconds to cross their line of sight.

Brian Vike’s Note: She did not see it right away, her son noticed it first and gave out a yell. She looked up and spotted it right away because of the intense brightness and size. My point is, 5 to 6 seconds is a fair bit of time when they had a short space to see the object due to trees blocking their view. Being so close to it, I asked what kind of sound did it make, they both said, none at all. "There was no noise coming from it".

It also was on a slight angle they told me, but very slight. (This makes me wonder if it did hit the ground, as it was certainly very low at this point, if so where? Also this gives a lot of weight to folks in the area seeing the military vehicles and a lot of air traffic overhead).

Witness #1 said she waited around for a little while with her son watching the sky just in case something else went by, but nothing did so she went into the house and started calling around to authorities. She called the Smithers Airport who were no help to her, they knew nothing. She called the Vancouver International Airport, they knew nothing. She even call back east to Ottawa and talked with someone in an environment position, but I am sure they wouldn't know anything anyway.

So in the morning witness #1 called the Smithers Interior newspaper to inform them of what she saw.

Witness #2 - Son. This is a brief description in which he gave to me. I am just going to summarize his statement as a lot of the same information is above in this report. It was very large, bright and lasted far longer than any meteor shower. Faster than a man-made object, but slower than a meteorite. There was "no" sound! It was below the horizon and moved away from until we lost sight of it behind the trees. A slight trajectory towards earth.

I spent a little over two hours with this friendly family and enjoyed this visit very much. What I found really nice about talking with them. We talked about the large fossil find, as they had a bunch of wonderful samples spread across a table outside. Of course I am interested in this as well. I can say this, our area holds a lot of treasures, and this one is a major find as the fossils cover a very large area, you can bend down and walk slowly along and fill a bucket.

Everything is in perfect form. It was like I was standing at the beach and grabbing perfect calms. There are so many different types of marine life it isn't funny, so I wonder what other specimens the land holds. There is a good write up on this in one of the rock hound magazines.

One more report to come, it is a shorter version as it was a telephone interview. Then a final wrap up on the whole case as it sits for now. I know there is more to do on this, so I will be still making calls, and hoping others come forward if they did indeed see this object.

Object Seen From Abbotsford British Columbia (Cascade Mountains)

Date: October 16, 2010
Time: 7:31 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Cascade Mountains British Columbia.
Number of Witnesses:
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: "V shaped.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I live in Abbotsford in apartment with a beautiful view over East (Sumas and Cascade Mountains) and Mount Baker. It was more than a week ago in early mourning on 16 Oct, 2010. We woke up early that morning because my husband had planned a trip. It was Saturday, I was not rushing for work. I made my coffee and like usual sat on the sofa with my laptop, red some news, did a bit of work in my own culinary BlogSpot.

The skies above Abbotsford, British Columbia are common pathways for many airplanes and I’ve seen many of those flying over. Somehow the scenery I observed that morning was rather different than the usual.

At some time I’ve lost internet connection, it should have been around 7:26am. I did restart my computer and while waiting for it I looked out of the window. Here is the place I would like to mention that observing the sunrises over Rocky Mountains when the weather is nice is my favorite part of the day. I have many nice photos of those sunrises and my camera is always around.

At this time I noticed something very bright in the sky. The weather was mostly clear with a few clouds. At first I thought, “It is an airplane with contrail segments and the light from rising sun gives its brightness to this reflection”. It was moving very slowly and it was brighter than any other similar reflections.

It looked like approaching, almost hovering at one place. I don’t have binoculars and some times I use my camera’s zoom option to see objects closer. I’ve noticed the “V” shaped form and the slow speed of this object. I took 19 photos until the object “dive” behind the rim. This object did not change it’s shape except it seems like it turns counterclockwise on it’s axis and looked more like a “U” and has a complex trajectory.

Outside Houston British Columbia Stalked By A UFO On Highway #16

The original report below, sighting in Houston, British Columbia came from Mr. Peter Davenport at the NUFORC (http://www.ufocenter.com/) as he thought I would be interested in looking into the case due to it being in the area where I live. Brian Vike (The Vike Factor) called the lady who filed the report to Peter and I had a long conversation with her. I did not realize just how much more there was to the case. Also the lady who I named Connie in this report will writing up a full version of all events that have taken place over the years.

Thank you to the kind lady for taking the time to have a wonderful conversation with me.

Houston, British Columbia

Date: August 8, 1998
Time: 2:00 a.m.

It was 2:00 a.m. and I was headed East on the Yellowhead Highway, Hwy 16. I was just a few miles outside of Houston. I had just left the little town of Smithers and I was looking for a Fair Grounds that I had thought they had there to stay overnight with 5 horses that I had brought out of Alaska. I had traveled this highway lots of times and usually stayed in Vanderhoof or Quesnel but the road had been bad coming down the Cassiar Hwy and had slowed me down.

My traveling companions besides the 5 equines consisted of my SharPei dog (CharChar) and 1 cat (Sally). It was my traveling companions that alerted me to something unusual in the beginning. Char started howling in a strange way and was looking out the rear window. I could see a strange white glow on her when I turned around. At first this registered as light coming off my front running lights on the horse trailer, the problem being they are orange, not white.

Still did not register with me that there was anything unusual yet. Then Sally, the cat, started making strange noises I never had heard before and she actually jumped up on the seat in front with me then jumped back to the back and went under the seat. Her hackles were up at the time.

Meanwhile, Char is running from the back rear window to me and whining and her hackles are up. I was at this point starting to get spooked. I had slowed down considerably looking for the Fair Grounds and had been leaning forward on the steering wheel (there was some ground fog in the valleys there too).

It was at this time that I realized the truck was glowing with a white light and the ground around me also was. It was like I was in a big spotlight with one of those new blue-white headlights they have out now.

I leaned forward and looked up and realized that there was something over me. It was as larger than a large full moon in size in the sky and was a glowing green color with this large white light in the middle. Like a stupid idiot I really slowed down and rolled my window down and listened.

I heard no engines. At this point I am trying to justify this with a meteor, crashing plane, helicopter, anything but imagining that I could be the perfect "UFO medical experiment on wheels, 5 equine,1 feline,1 canine and 1 hominid."

This my daughter later reminded me of and we had a good laugh, however I failed to see the humor in it at the time it was happening. I don't think I directly thought of this however I know it had to be in my mind.

The object suddenly removed the light from me and then sped forward. I was at this point going up a hill and it appeared to be going to the top of the hill to land. It was at this point I actually saw 3 points of light that were red or orange on the edge. I thought they might have been engine exhaust or after burners. It was a little unclear with the fog I was going in and out of.

This was not a heavy fog, more like a mist. It hesitated at the crest of the hill then suddenly made a sharp turn and headed due North from me. It was at this point that I realized that I had come to a complete stop in the Highway. Myself and Char were just staring at this thing. I can't tell you what was running through her mind but I can tell you I was now scared.

It went through this mist and went right up and over a small mountain there. I could see the glow of light from beyond the mountain like it had landed. I got going again quite quickly and stopped in the next town to call my husband. He is in the USAF and while I am relating all this to him it was at this time I realized that the entire Convenience Store was now quiet.

Everyone in there was listening to me! One of the customers in there told me that there had been sightings in the area all Summer! Well I ask if there was a RCMP close at hand because I still thought that maybe I should report it.

The clerk in the store he did not think the office for just reporting would be open at this time so I just determined I would call later. There were 2 logging truck drivers there that said that I could park between them if I was still scared since they would be there until 6:00 when the mill opened. This is exactly what I did.

The next morning I started off again headed for Arlington,Washington. Somewhere before Prince George I spied a RCMP on the side of the road running radar and it was a woman. I thought this would be the chance to talk to someone so I parked on the side of the road and approached her vehicle.

I had made sure that I had picked up one of my Business Cards first. (I run a horse transport business so I do a lot of traveling at night. It is easier on the horses especially in the Summer. I also had lived 17 years in Alaska so I knew this Hwy and this was a first for me on it.)

When I came up the first thing out of mouth was that here was my business card, that I did not do drugs nor rarely drank and certainly had been doing neither the previous night. She listened to my tale then handed the card back to me and kind of chuckled.

Without saying anything to me she got on the radio back to Houston, BC, Canada and told them I would be calling in a report. I interrupted her to ask if it would be a problem if I called once I got to a land line in Washington and she said yes.

Well this went better than I had expected. I really thought that she might have been calling out the "paddy wagon" with the straight jackets for me. It was at this time after speaking on the radio she got out of the car and looked at me straight on. She then proceeded to tell me she believed me and did not think that

I was a "NUT" since if I was a nut seeing things at night then they had 2 RCMP's that were the same and were seeing things in broad daylight. She said that a craft had been sited in the same area just a few days before.

I proceeded on feeling much better actually. When I got to Arlington, Washington at a motel I called the desk at the RCMP's at Houston and gave them a full report.

Visitations By Little People

The story is real but the names in this report below are fictitious for obvious reasons.
Connie - Driver of the vehicle who had the amazing encounter in Houston, British Columbia.

I telephoned the witness as I had a number of question I wanted to ask her. She lives with her husband on their ranch in North Carolina. The lady was such a pleasant person to talk with, also owns her own business and has degrees in anthropology and archaeology from the University of Houston, Texas. As far as I am concerned she is a very credible witness who gave a number of details in her report that only residents in my area would know about.

As we chatted about what took place that early morning, she went on to tell me about some other frightening experiences which has followed her throughout her life. The sad part to the story is that not only is she being effected, but members of her family and now her young grandchild as well. When I hear about children being involved with such events it saddens me. It is bad enough for adults to deal with the strange happenings, but to know that children are having visitations, etc.. it really does break my heart.

The lady went on to say that her daughter was joking with her about her being a rolling medical experiment on wheels, as she was carrying her pets, horses and of course herself. When her daughter said this, Connie didn't find it very amusing due to what has, and still is, going on in her family.

Connie told me she has had some other troubling times in her family. Her son had an experience and Connie as well. Connie said she called them her little people. She told me she had many dreams, not so much vivid ones, but dreams. But she was very upset when her son, then three years old and when all of them were living in Alaska. It got so bad that she took her son to a psychologist thinking a three year old couldn't make up such a story if something wasn't taking place.

Connie not knowing at the time when she made the appointment for her son that the psychologist was a child specialist. The psychologist said to Connie that her son kept talking about this "thing" over and over while they were in the psychologist office. The lady psychologist told Connie you would not believe how many children come through her office telling a similar story, of these unusual experiences. Connie mentioned to the psychologist that even when she was a child, and now an adult she still has her dreams about her visitors or little people.

Connie told me that her husband doesn't even want to hear about any of the experiences anymore, mainly due to not being able to do anything about them ( a feeling of helplessness). But it wasn't until the summer of 1987 when Connie and all of her children went to Barnes and Noble book store in Austin Texas to pick up a book she was interested in reading.

While looking around the book store, her young son asked his mother if he could go and look at some of the children's books. Connie said yes, but told him that he was not to wander off and stay where she was able to keep him in her sight. As the youngster made his way to the children's book section he went around a corner, or a different book section which displayed other book topics. All of a sudden all of the shoppers in the book store could hear a young child yell out, "here's my monster Mom"!

Connie's son came running back to her with a book in his hand, again yelling out, "here's my monster Mom". What the little boy was holding in his hands was a copy of Mr. Whitley Srieber's book, Communion. On the front cover of the book was this young boys monster, a being with large dark almond shape eyes. Connie told me after her son gave out the loud yell you could have heard a pin drop in the book store as everyone was looking in their direction.

Connie took the book from her son, went through the check out and paid for the copy. She wanted to have an idea of what was frightening her child. It wasn't until she got home and later that evening when laying in bed reading a book she had already started did she realize the book in her hands was another one by Whitley Srieber. She had not put two and two together and was rather surprised.

Connie went on to say that now her six year old granddaughter is going through the same things as her son had. Judy tells her Mother and Grandmother that there are little old men who visit me in the night. More information will be coming on how the little girl is doing.

Connie told me when she was a little girl she was terrified of the dark and insisted on having the lights on when she was sleeping, and she told me it is still like this today. Also she doesn't sleep very well.

Connie also discussed some other bizarre things that happened to her over the years of these visitations. One time while still living in Alaska she had a frightful nightmare, woke up the next morning with a burn mark on her tailbone.

This burned circle on her back stayed with her for approximately two weeks and she did seek medical help over it. Connie also told me that she has had bad nose bleeds since she was a child, and the same with her son. On one of Connie's trips this last year something extraordinary took place. She was having excruciating headaches and had nightmares before she had left home, matter of fact she woke up the night before she left on her trip and saw beings standing in the doorway.

Her nose bleeds became very severe and her husband said we are going to have to take you in to see a doctor when you come back off the road trip.

Connie at this time was transporting horses and was calling her husband on the telephone. On one call she made to her husband at a stop over at a motel, Connie said that her nose was very stuffed up, bad pain above her eye and was taking aspirin for the pain.

She said she was continually blowing her nose and getting more blood from her nostril the more she blew until her left nostril was completely stuffed up and no air could pass through it. Finally still trying to clear her sinuses she blew into a tissue a couple more times when something broke free. To her surprise in her tissue was a piece of material approx: one half inch long, one quarter inch wide and had the strangest little nodules on the material.

Connie said the debris felt like bone and was pinkish in color. Seeing she was frightened, on her own and upset, Connie flushed the material down the toilet at the motel. Ever since that day she discarded this bit of material, she has had no more problems.

A sad part to this story is that Connie had to help with her grandmother. At the time the doctors thought Connie's grandmother was mentally ill and wanted to have her committed. This was due to her seeing things at her home during the nights.

She also walked around with a flashlight all night long Connie told me. As we know with the abduction experience it seems to run through the families, sometimes starting with the grandparents to their children, to their children and on and on it can go. So was Connie's grandmother having visitations ? Even after Connie's grandmother had passed away and the house was bought by another family member, strange happenings still go on to this day in that home.
