Brilliant Unknown Light Over French Creek North Of Parksville Vancouver Island British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 12:15 a.m.

Last night, just after midnight (about 12:15 a.m.) I was in bed with eyes closed, but not asleep.

For some reason, I opened my eyes, perhaps because the bedroom was lit up with a very bright light, florescent, but different (brighter) coming through the closed blinds.

No moon and it was raining. I have a large vacant area on the south side of my house and went to look out that window. Then the light went out. The area is French Creek, north of Parksville.

I checked with neighbours today, but no one else was awake at that hour.

Perhaps these events will replace the earthquake scare.

3 Brilliant Objects Shot Up Out Of The Ocean At Ostler Park Campbell River British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My daughter and I were walking along the water front in Ostler Park, Campbell River, B.C. when I looked out over the docked tugboats I saw three sets of twinned brilliant 'projectiles' shoot out from the ocean and into invisibility in the sky. I immediately thought of 'drones' then dismissed the idea. Birds? No way!

Unusual Blinding Brilliant Orange Lights Over Cobble Hill British Columbia

Hi there Brian, I live in Cobble Hill and last night, night of 22nd January 2011 I went outside and I saw some brilliant orange lights in the sky. Could not get a good look as they were obscured by trees, but it appeared to dip down and then up again and possibly divided and rejoined.

Anyway, they were very bright, so bright that I had to look away at one point for fear of burning my eyes like a welding arc, but orangey and appeared to be mobile to some degree.

Brilliant Orange Fire Coloured Object Over Abbotsford British Columbia

Time: Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Last night, January 2nd, 2011 at approximately 8:30pm Pacific Standard time, my husband called me to come out on our back deck as he had witnessed an extremely bright orange ball moving across the sky, from north to south, quite slowly.

I managed to see some of it too, before it was obscured by buildings. It was quite amazing and a brilliant orange fire colour. It didn't look like a meteor or space debris entering the earth's atmosphere, which we've seen many times as there was no "tail" on this object, very silent and it was moving slowly. We are in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.

Vancouver Island, British Columbia A Brilliant Turquoise Colored Fireball

Hi Brian! I also (along with a couple of witnesses) saw the Fireball at approx. between 11:30 and midnight Sat. the 14th of June. It appeared to be very large and heading in a northward direction.The color was a brilliant turquoise color with a streaming (2 or 3) part tail. I viewed it through an opening in some trees while in a friends backyard from the mid Vancouver Island area. I have never seen one this color or size before, it was beautiful. We were joking about the fact it looked like it would have landed very close to us, judging by the size, and its trajectory path. We heard no sound at all.

Qualicum Beach, British Columbia A Brilliant Turquoise/Green Meteor

I saw this and with luck was almost looking directly at it when it started. It occurred at 23:41 hrs and was a particularly long burn as it lasted about 4 to 5 seconds. My location is Qualicum Beach and it entered at approximately a 45 degree angle heading almost due north about 30 degrees above the horizon. It burned a brilliant turquoise/green and broke into 3 pieces while leaving a long glowing trail. This sucker was bright! It was the most spectacular meteor fall I have ever seen in my years of stargazing.

Powell River, British Columbia A Brilliant White Oblong Object

Number of objects: Appeared to be 2.
Shape of objects: Top one oblong with tail, bottom one rectangular.
Weather Conditions: Clear sky.

Description: Sitting watching a movie. Looked out. A brilliant white oblong object with a tail was tracking fast in SE direction with what looked like a green rectangle directly below (connected to it). The object's white tail seemed to be a bit feathered.

Sighting lasted no more than 5 seconds.

TV/Radio: None so far on March 31, 2008 - Global TV or CBC radio.

Bowser, British Columbia Night Turns To Day - Brilliant Light

Full Description of event/sighting: it was pitch black that night, suddenly the sky seemed to turn to daylight but through green sunglasses. Our power went out and then all of a sudden the sky started to flash red and blue and green, meanwhile the sky was still green. I could see very clearly outside, although I was scared; I went outside to check it out because my father is a paraplegic and I was the only one that was able to go outside. When I looked up into the sky, I couldn't see anything but the flashing lights, after about 2 minutes{it was freezing and snowing out} I finally came inside and about 10 minutes later it all stopped. It never happened again but it will stay with me forever.

Sorry about the confusion, I meant to say as though I was looking through green sunglasses. I wasn't actually wearing green sunglasses. It looked like daylight but as though you were looking through a pair of green sunglasses. Thank you for getting back to me and not just sloughing me off as if I were some sort of nutbar.
