HBCC UFO Research Note: I was just getting going and getting the reports posted when my computer went goofy and had to get it fixed which the computer store did straight away, so hopefully now I can get a lot of reports posted and reply to folks over the next couple of days.

Hi Brian, Yesterday here in Vernon we were blitzed with contrails. The whole day there were lines in all directions. Last night I was on my balcony which faces eastward. I am close to downtown Vernon. Around 9:30pm I watched a bright white star like object cruise over Vernon heading east at around 10,000 ft (airplane height) and begin to drop in altitude over the east mountain, then it dimmed right out. The sky was still in dusk not dark. At approximately 10:00pm a star like object at approximately 10,000ft travelled quickly and with deliberation over Vernon heading north.

Here is where it gets difficult to describe. I saw two objects approximately 15 minutes apart that I cannot identify and will try to describe. I had been looking at the planes in the dark sky through the binoculars so I could recognize the lighting. The lights describe an identifiable and familiar shape. And there is reflection also. Wings, front and back of the body of the plane. Flashing lights and steady ones. There is an eastern flight path north of Vernon, and I know where it is from where I am.

There appeared an object flashing red/white lights, heading in an north-easterly direction. It was not in the plane's flight path. I looked at it through the binoculars. The red/white flashing lights made my eyes crazy as it was not describing anything I am familiar with. The red/white lights were flashing under something, then a big jump to the right then the left and then up. The lights seemed to be all over the place. The huge jump in the distance of the flashing lights with nothing visible, (no wings, no body to see in a red/white reflection) made it seem like the object was way bigger than any plane. This object left a thick blue cloud- like contrail, (I could see it in the dark as a bluish cloud) and the angle of the contrail was different than a regular plane receding to the horizon. It was more directed on a down angle. The object was flying slowly, and I lost track of it .

About 15 minutes later another object slowly followed the first object. This object had three white lights in a straight line on the end, and front flashing white lights. I have not seen a plane with three lights placed as these were. Again I could not get any kind of shape. Thanks Brian.

Take care.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
