Large Bright White UFO/Disc Lake Country Okanagan Valley British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Upon staring out my window at the stars and sky like I do on a nightly basis, I saw a large bright white object that was never there before.

It was too close to the ground to be a star. It was wide and shaped like a disc and gleamed the brightest white that it made it hard to focus on.

I had to keep readjusting my eyes to this brightness. It was hovering well above the houses over a cow field and in the flight path to our airport.

I thought it may have been an airplane, but it didn't move. I ran downstairs to tell my family and came back up to find it was gone.

Very Unusual Sighting Over Penticton Okanagan Valley British Columbia

Date:  October 2, 1994 or 1995 ?
Time:  Approx: 4:00 a.m.

Hi.  My name is (name removed) and at the time of the sighting I was  in Penticton it was 1994 or 1995.  October 2.

I was waiting outside for a ride, I had just finished a night shift and it was about 4:00 a.m.

I was looking at the moon and then from the outer edges of the visible moon. (which was about 3/4 full  maybe almost full), it swirled closed. I would describe it like the way a periscope? Closes.

The moon was not visible for a few moments and then swirled open again. This was repeated for about 8 times in approximately. Ten minutes. Moon, no moon. I watched this and my friend did as well. I’ve never heard of any other experience like this.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes as if something was between us and the moon, from my position, and the description is difficult because the scale of what I was seeing is quite in comprehensible.

So if looking at the moon likes like a circle in the sky, then that circle became smaller and smaller until a dot and then nothing, and then began again as a pinpoint of light that became full again.

As for my description of swirling, yes there seemed to be a mechanical movement as though looking through a periscope. That’s not quite the right word. If I could draw it for you or like an old shutter lens closing and opening.

I hope this helps and I was alone for the first few minutes and then my ride showed up, and I pointed out what was occurring, and on our drive home we watched it a few more times from the car.

Solid White Object Flew Over Okanagan Falls British Columbia (ISS)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Was standing on my deck facing south and I noticed an object coming over the hill from the west, and travelling to the southwest. It was a solid white light moving at a fast pace.

I called another person to come and be a witness. He brought a 1 million candle power light and shone it at the object (silly, but it happened).

Seconds later there was a huge flash of light from the east and very shortly afterwards the object disappeared.

Large Bright Red Object Stops And Changes Direction Over Peachland Okanagan Valley British Columbia

Location of Sighting: Peachland - OK Mtn Park/Rattlesnake Is.

Shape of Objects: Nondescript night sighting.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Big and bright, red non-flashing light flying lower than a small aircraft would fly. It was seen by us in Peachland. It moved ever so slowly and stopped, changed directions for a few seconds and stopped again before flying east over OK Mountain Park.

 

No sound, blue and white smaller lights sometimes visible. First time seeing this type of UFO, but I see others have witnessed something similar in this area. Thanks.

Multicolored Spheres Over Kaleden South Okanagan British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Around 9:00pm last night, I noticed the same multicolored sphere again to the west. There seems to be an unusual amount of theses in the area at any given night. I can see at least 3.

Okanagan Falls British Columbia A Triangular Formation (UFOs)

Shape of Objects: 3 dots in the.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Came out of home to have a smoke and look at the night sky when I noticed 3 dots of light in what appeared to be a perfect triangle. After noticing said triangle I thought to myself I know of no constellation or any thing like that formed a triangle like that, so I was looking at it wondering what it could be the three light started spinning in a fast circular motion and the just zipped away in three different directions leaving no trail or any thing behind just sped off and disappeared. Been quiet about this until I read the article in the Qualicum Beach bi-weekly paper (Black Press). I thought I would pass it along then to some-one I hope doesn't think I should be in the HA HA Hotel! Hope this is of some help.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report. Also I would like to add in the Okanagan here in British Columbia in 2003 there was a major UFO flap that took place. Sighting reports came flying in, and some of these reports were major UFO events that still to this day have gone unexplained. All of the Okanagan I would say is most certainly the most active area for sightings in British Columbia, Canada.

Hi Brian,

I'm googling like crazy to find someone to pass this on to. Around 5:30 this morning our phone lines lit up with calls from 4 people having seen a large orange ball streaking through the Central Okanagan. Described as south of Winfield or near Black Mountain. The callers (3 men and one woman) all said it appeared to have hit the ground and they saw a green glow that quickly went out. Police and fire have nothing to report.
